The day
6:45–7:00
WakeUsually up at 7. Start checking the cam around 6:45 — if she isn't crying, let her roll around a bit.
7:05
Change diaperFirst thing after she's up.
7:15
Milk~5oz of cold milk, made in the coffee lounge. She drinks it there or on the way downstairs.
7:30
BreakfastBest right after the milk. Half a bagel, toast or a waffle, with butter or peanut butter. Yogurt too.
8:00–10:30
Outside, then play with Maya and NicoleSwing, bike ride, or the pool to start — then social play with the cousins. Together these are the strongest predictor of a good day.
10:30
Start winding downShe runs out of gas at the end of the morning. Ease off here.
11:00
LunchQuesadilla + guac, cheese pizza, nuggets + sweet potato fries, or Little Spoon — we call it "blue plate," and she likes to pick which one. If she's too tired, push lunch until after the nap.
11:20
Brush teethRight after lunch, before she goes down.
11:25
Change diaperAlways change before the nap.
11:30
Nap — protect thisUp by 1:00 at the latest. All five must-haves.
1:00
Change diaperAlways change coming out of the nap.
1:05
Gentle re-entryWake-ups can be rough. Snack first, decisions later.
1:30
SnackYogurt, banana, Nutella sandwich, or a bar.
2:00
Outside or indoor activitiesPool, swing, park — or toys, drawing and reading if you stay in. Shower straight after any pool time.
4:00
Quiet play or a movieUsually no more than 30 minutes. Frozen, Ratatouille, Nemo. Let her stop it when she wants.
5:00–5:30
DinnerMac & cheese is the safe bet. Nuggets, pizza, Little Spoon also work.
6:00
ShowerNot needed if pool time already happened earlier.
6:20
Brush teethLast thing before bed.
6:25
Change diaperNight diaper, straight after brushing.
6:30
BedSing a song, drink water, then upstairs to read. Two or three books — tell her which one is the last. Into the crib on top of the grey sleep sack, zip it up, pink ravioli in her hand.
Standing rules
- Shower after the pool — every time, no exceptions
- Nap ends by 1:00 even if she's still asleep
- All five bedtime items, every time she goes down

Bedtime must-haves — all five
She does not go down without these
- Grey sleep sack (the ravioli sleeping bag)
- Pink ravioli — in her hand
- Wash cloth — on her chest
- Cheeser
- Big giraffe
Same five at nap time. Check all of them before leaving the room.
If it goes sideways
Night
She wakes upLet her resettle on her own. She usually does.
Nap
She won't sleepKeep her in the room until 1:00 as long as she isn't crying. Quiet and dark, no pressure — the rest still helps. If she's crying, get her up.
Health
Eczema shows up as redness at the joints — elbows, armpit, sometimes the heel from shoes.
The cream clears it, but leaves a white discoloration on the skin afterward. That's normal, not a reaction.
Check her heels after a day in new shoes.
Where things live
Pool diapers — pool bath cabinet.
Sunscreen — pool bath cabinet.
Toothbrush & toothpaste — bathroom next to Tom's office.
Diapers — upper right drawer of the changing table.

Pee first, before anything else
He has to go out the moment he's up. If he doesn't, he'll pee inside.
Don't feed him until he poops
Same story — if he hasn't gone, he'll do it inside.
Keep an eye on his limp
Watch how he's moving. Call us if it looks worse.
Léo's day
First thing
Quick let-outStraight out as soon as he's up, before anything else. Off leash in the driveway to pee is fine — just keep an eye on him.
Morning
Walk 1Walk first, then feed.
Morning
FeedRoughly 1/3 cup wet food.
Evening
Walk 2
Evening
FeedRoughly 1/3 cup wet food.
Bedtime
Quick let-outShort one, just before bed. Don't skip it.
Checklist
On walks
- Always on leash — every walk, no exceptions
- Friendly with other dogs, so passing them is fine
Where things live
Harness & leash — garage, on the shoe rack.
Poop bags — in the stroller bag / carrier.
Wet food — laundry fridge. Roughly 1/3 cup per meal.
Dry food — pantry, against the wall on the ground. Backup if the wet food runs out.
Leave these doors open
Never close the coffee lounge door, and never close the coffee lounge closet door. That's where the litters are — the cats need to get to them.
